What characterizes our DTF (Direct to Film) printing?
- Incredible durability: The flexible print works perfectly with the fabric. It won't crack or fade after washing, and it's resistant to stretching.
- No Cutting or Peeling (Zero Weeding!): Unlike flex/flock films, DTF technology prints only the graphic with an adhesive backing. As soon as the graphic is cut from the roll, it's ready to be applied using a heat press (or iron).
- Large working format (Important!): The physical width of the film roll is 33 cm. However, the maximum printable area is 31-32 cm . This is due to the need to leave a safe margin (approx. 1 cm on each side) for the rollers guiding the printing machine to prevent ink smearing.
- Versatility: You can apply transfers to cotton, polyester, blends, and even softshell or eco-leather, regardless of the material color (we print a thick layer of white underprint!).
How to arrange a design on a meter of foil in the Creator?
- Click the green "Creator" button. You will see a working area corresponding to the size of 1 linear meter.
- Upload your image files ( PNG files without background and transparency required, 300 DPI resolution recommended).
- Arrange, scale and rotate graphics in the creator to optimally use available space.
- Remember the margins: Keep important elements within a safe area (max 31-32 cm in width) to avoid technical problems during printing.
- When your "meter" is full, approve the design, add it to your cart and wait for the courier with the foil ready for transfer!

Why is the print width 31-32 cm on 33 cm foil?
The backing film is actually 33 cm wide. However, modern DTF machines use pinch rollers inside the film to press it against the tabletop. To prevent these rollers from smudging the fresh, wet ink, it's absolutely essential to maintain a safety margin of approximately 1 cm on the left and right sides.
Do I need to invert the graphics (mirror image) before uploading them to the creator?
No! You upload your graphics exactly as you want them to appear on the final T-shirt (with legible text). Our professional RIP system (printing software) will automatically mirror them when creating the production file.
How to properly heat-up the received DTF print?
Cut your graphic out of the base foil. Place it on the fabric so that the graphic adheres to the fabric (with the matte side facing up). We recommend a press temperature of 135-145°C and a press time of 15-16 seconds (medium pressure). We use universal foils (hot/cold peel) for printing, so theoretically you can remove the foil immediately, but in our experience, we recommend waiting for the print to cool slightly (or completely in a cold environment) . This increases safety and ensures that the adhesive has bonded firmly to the fabric. Finally, heat the print through parchment paper or Teflon for about 5 seconds.
